    CAMPBELL NAMED TO NHL ALL-STAR TEAM

    Buffalo Sabres’ defenseman Brian Campbell was named to the 2008 Eastern Conference All-Star team today.

    This will be Campbell’s second consecutive appearance in the event as he serves as Buffalo’s sole representative.

    "It's a nice feeling," Campbell said. "It's an honor and something I will go into with my eyes wide open and something I will look forward to."

    Campbell currently leads all Sabres blueliners with 28 points (4+24) on the year and is ranked ninth in the league in defensive scoring.

          The NHL All-Star game is so stupid because every team has to be represented, and for crap teams like us, that usually means a defenseman. For the Blackhawks, Duncan Keith went and Kane didn't. It's a joke.

            We are so terrible. Two points out of a playoff spot with key injuries, god we ****ing suck.

            I heard 103.3 the edge is holding a jersey burn every tuesday until the playoffs because we are the worst team to ever step foot onto the ice.

            Also, there is a cult that has been formed for all Sabres fans who wish to kill themselves by going down the falls while chanting to the heavens "**** YOU DARCY!"

              Use all the stats you want, Campbell makes bad plays and stupid mistakes that an All-star shouldn't.

                For this team, anything short of another final four is crap, and having experienced it, even THAT is crap. I don't care about anything else. Speaking positively about merely being in the playoff race means you're eating the crap and liking it.
