      2008 opponents:
      Home:

Chargers: Loss - Close but SD is talented
Dolphins: Win - They'll make us look like SB Champs
49ers: Win - Haven't had their head on straight for a long time
Jets: Win - Mangina is lost
Patriots: Loss - Tough game and probably at night
      Raiders: Win - Raiders suck
Seahawks: Win - Only can beat their own division (07' strength of schedule .414, ouch)
Cleveland: Win - We beat these meatsacks with 12th man help

      Away:

Broncos: Win - Revenge is a dish best served cold, like in Denver (just there)
Cardinals: Win - Improving but we have POZ!
Chiefs: Win - Tough place to play but not lately
Dolphins: Win - I'll be in a box with drink in hand, pushover
Jets: Win - Mangina 2, the revenge
Patriots: Loss - Close game, we look like playoff contenders
Rams: Win - Rams play hard but just don't get it
Jacksonville: Loss - We get ran over for a second year in a row

12-4 and 5th seed in the playoffs, the team no one wants to play.

The Raiders will be a much improved team next year, Russell looked really good in his last game, their run game is one of the best in the NFL and they are couple of players away on Defense from having one of the best. This is not a gimme for us.

The Cardinals will have one of the best DL in the NFL next year, a great pass game and will most likely improve once again in the run game. All they need is a playmaker at FS and that will be a very good team.

The seahawks are a very well rounded team and well coached. A vet QB and a strong Defense. They have way more in place than we do. FA and draft will solidify them.

The Chiefs are more of a wildcard, but with Larry, Gonzalez, Bowe and a tough vet defense they are always tough to beat.

Jacksonville. Just a sound football team all around.

Cleveland will upgrade their D in the offseason and draft. Combine that with their sick O and they are way ahead of us. QB being the main reason.

Broncos can be beaten but at this point i see it as a loss because Cutler is a better QB than Edwards andtheir OL is better at run blocking.

Depends on when our bye week is. It also depends when the games are played. It also depends on free agency and the draft. I don't really see it possible to say. Ofcourse this is obviously just for kicks.

I just hope that the NFL doesn't screw us again. Four straight years playing the Patriots after their bye week. What a bunch of bull...

For me it is way too early to predict who they will beat and who they will lose to. However, its not to early to predict a acceptable record for next season. I think they should be no worse than 10-6. I am not saying they will be 10-6. I am saying if this team want to take a step forward out of mediocrity they need to be 10-6. I think with Edwards maturing, the OL getting use to each other and know what the guy next to him is doing and hopefully get some help at WR the offense should step up. If the Bills can get some help at DT, replace Ellison and maybe get someone to push Kelsey the defense should be much improved.

This schedule looks like the most favorable one since 2004, the year where we ALMOST made the playoffs. However, in the NFL things change fast, the Rams and Broncos could be very good next year, even though they had off years last year. I also think the Jets will be better, and i wouldnt write them off.

However, i dont think SF, Oakland, Kansas City, or Miami are going to make dirastic turn arounds.

One good thing, the Patriots CANT be any better!

Don't forget to take into account that we will have at least four teams that are coming off their bye weeks, including the Patriots.

If I had to assume that we would be the same team next year as we were in 2007, I would drive myself into a deep depression. And I already have the Sabres for that.

Seriously, don't we need to assess our offseason, as well as our opponents,' before we can even make a reasonable guess?
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

It doesnt matter what our schedule is, I haven't even bothered to look at it.

Given our confidence in whatever you want to call this administration, the first I've seen that TRULY care about how many people are in the stands more than who wins the game; and what I suspect we'll do this free agent period and the next several to come.

you can go ahead for the next 2-4 years and mark us between 6 to 8 wins.

Re: How many wins can you see in our 2008 schedule?

Obviously a lot can happen in one off-season, but as it stands right now, we only have four playoff teams on our schedule next year. So at least as of right now, our schedule seems to favor us much much more then it has in past years. I can't remember the last time our schedule looked this weak at this point in the year.

I think it's fair to say the Fins, Jets, 49ers, Rams, Chiefs and Raiders all look worse off right now then us. The fact that we shouldn't lose anyone important, have more then enough cap room and 10 draft picks, makes it highly improbable for us to have a bad off-season. So that's 8 games right there against some inferior looking teams.

I also don't think there's anything to get excited about with the Broncos and Cards.

So I won't make a prediction for wins at this point, or probably at any point, but next year better be a playoff year. With the way things are lining up it will be hard to except anything less.

Wow, 13-3 and we are only the fifth seed? That would be a first, I think. BTW, you have us losing 4 games.

13-3 sounds about right, but I'ma homer. 2 Pats losses, and one to the Jags.

10 wins wouldn't be out of the question... IF!!!

                              We sign Antonio Bryant
                              We sign Anthony Hargrove
We draft a big tall day 1 WR
                              We draft an impact TE
We draft a middle clogging DT
We draft a big nickle back
                              We stay relativly healthy
