The Tennessee Titans (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=ten) fired offensive coordinator Norm Chow after three seasons with the team, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported Tuesday.
The Titans finished the regular season 10-6 and suffered a 17-6 loss to the San Diego Chargers (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=sdg) in the first round of the playoffs. They finished 10th in the AFC in total yards.
Chow, who was previously the offensive coordinator at USC, was interviewed for UCLA's head coach opening in December but withdrew his name from consideration. The Bruins went on to hire Rick Neuheisel.

The guy must be great. He helped win 10 games with Vince Young at QB.

OMG sign the guy NOW!

No worries about the Rooney Rule either as he's a minority.

He would be the PERFECT replacement for OC.

<--- Plus he looks like me.:D

I'll take him in a heartbeat. Sure the Titans offense sucked, it had Vince Young AKA the most overrated player in the league, on his team.

He's in my top 2-3 for outside the organization, I'd definately take him if we decide to implement a new system and hire from outside the org. Sucks to have the growing pains of everyone learning a new system, but hell, it's not like we're coming off a great offensive year.

Most of the OCs in the league are paid more than our Head coach now so I doubt we get someone who is proven.

I posted this in the NFL zone. Feel free to merge them.

Lets see. Norm Choad led an offense that was unimaginative and unproductive. A young "up and coming" QB got worse this year instead of better. Sound familiar?

Vince Young sucks. He can't throw for crap.
