Chow was fired. Some people now want to bring Chow in here to be the OC. That would be nice. But coaches are only as good as the talent they have around them. For examples...See Chow in NE then see how he did in Tenn. Or Levy with Kelly, Thomas, Reed, etc... and then see how Levy did in KC. See Bellicheck in Cleveland, now look at him in NE. etc... the List is endless.

Until Buffalo gets some star talent on the roster it won't matter who the coaches are. They will continue to struggle.

I just think the problem is alot deeper than just coaching.

I'd rather see the money spent on a true #2 WR, Center, run stuffing Defensive tackle.

Start with talent. Talent can make coaches look great.

Is Josh McDaniels OC of the New England Patriots the best OC in the NFL or is it he just has the best talent around him to work with?

It goes both ways man. A great coach can take average players and put them in the right positions to be good/great.

I understand what your saying I just think coaching is important just not as important as the talent that is on the field.

Not to turn this into a JP debate but how many coaches did JP go thru in Buffalo? Would Manning, Favre, Brady etc... have gone thru that many? Or would they have made those coaches look good?

I agree with you to a degree. But we do not have an OC right now. If we're going to have to hire one anyway, why not bring him in? It still doesn't stop us from upgrading talent. It's not one or the other.
