Pro Bowl left tackle Jason Peters heads a long list of Buffalo Bills players who will have or already have had offseason surgeries.
Peters will miss the NFL’s allstar game in Hawaii due to a sports hernia, and he is scheduled to have surgery on it this week, Bills coach Dick Jauron said. Peters missed the Bills’ season finale in Philadelphia due to the injury. Jauron said that Peters is expected to be fine for next season.

Thankfully, it sounds like Peters and the rest of our walking wounded will be ready to go next season. Let's just hope we don't experience anywhere near the level of injuries in 2008 as we did this past season.

I've never seen anything like it.

hernias are generally easy fixes so he should be fine by next season.
