    Today is Marv's last day.

    Marv's last day

    Today

MARV'S LAST DAY: Today was Marv Levy's last day with the Bills in his second stint with the organization. With the transition now complete with Russ Brandon as COO, Marv bid the employees at One Bills Drive adieu. Marv made a brief address and said in part...
"The people in this room never gained a yard or made a tackle, but your contributions are as great as any in the organization. It's been quite an honor for me to come back and work with you. Thanks a million for what you contributed and how you helped to enrich my life. Enjoy the future."
Safe to say he will be missed.
    ---

Thanks once again for the memories Marv. You teased us as a coach and teased us with hope for the future as a GM. If Pacman Jones was a fan, your teasin' ass would be *****slapped by now. Hopefully you righted this ship for the last time.

Goodbye, Marv. You are a great man.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

The average age in the organization just dropped by 22 years.

It was such an honor to work with them guys that you hated being a GM and couldn't wait to get out which lead to stepping down after 2 average years?

The bad thing is that them guys are now in charge. I won't miss Marv and his GM skills.

That's one way of putting it. LOL

Let's all reflect on what Marv's done for us:

Well, there's Dick Jauron, loser, who hired "the best choice for OC," Steven Fairchild, another great move.

Interestingly both were applauded by most people here at the time. I guess some people simply like bending over for the soap and getting reamed, eh. Most here seem to really like it.

Levy's gettin' while the gettin's good! It's gonna be ugly after next season.
