Jets hired Bill Callahan as assistant head coach.
Callahan couldn't win consistently at Nebraska, but is still a respected coach in NFL circles because of his offensive mind. It is interesting that Callahan, a believer in the West Coast system, will be teaming with Brian Schottenheimer, who favors the spread attack. It's possible the Jets will push Schottenheimer out the door or expect him to move on to Baltimore.
Anyone else get the feeling that all the teams around us have already gotten better while we've gotten no better, maybe even worse?
