Michael Ryan took a hit to the face in the last minute and was immediately taken to the dressing room. He took some stitches and has vision problems and will be examined by an ophthalmologist tomorrow. He may end up missing some time."

Missing some time? this may be the end of his hockey career, he could be blind in that eye. :pray: for him.

it would be nice to get a report on him. but im assuming we would have heard by now if it was catestrophic so for now no news is good news. hopefully that means its just a close call thats causing him some trouble but nothing serious

he was bleeding pretty bad right away, hopefully it's not too serious

Don't worry. He'll be out a while, but I'm sure he just has some bad swelling. It's not going to be career threatening. Ryan will be back by the end of the season IMO.
