Sorry guys but the "I hate the Pats" or "Pats ar gay" threads are somewhat pathetic.

The Pats take chances and count on their coach to mesh the team together. Picking up Moss, Adalius, Welker, and Stallworth were brilliant moves.

The Bills continue to play it safe. Peerless Price, nice FA pick up.

I for one am sick of watching our team flounder and certainly am not going to take anything away from the Pats.

Picking up the best free agents available is a brilliant move? I think what they gave up for Welker and Moss was brilliant- or really stupid by the other teams GM's. The Bills can take some pride in bulilding the dynasty giving them the 15th pick in the draft so they didnt have to cut Bledsoe.

the Pats don't deserve their success.

1. They cheated
2. Bellicheck is a condescending ass
3. Brady is a whiner
4. Seau is a turncoat douche who acts like he won the SB after every tackle
5. Wilfork got fined twice for dirty hits this year
6. Vrabel got fined for dirty hits as well
7. Harrison was voted as the dirtiest player in the league by the other players
8. Moss is, well, Moss
9. The majority of their fans are just Red Sox fans who don't want to sober up in September. Once they have a 9-7 season, there will be no Pats fans.

Yeah, the Pats get it right on the field and we don't. But they're also a collection of jackasses and neither they nor their fans deserve the success.

Moss wasn't a risky move? Remember the rumors that he was going to get cut?

Forcing Miami's hand on Welker wasn't brilliant?

Stallworth was supposedly washed up?

Adalius Thomas is one of the most versatile defensive players in the league. Ravens didn't miss him?

Just wait til they make their cuts in a few weeks. You'll have shockers like Bruschi because they are committed to winning.

The Bills reward players like Schobel who already had a new contract so we can get 6 scaks.

adalius didnt have anything close to a good year. He was barely thier 3rd best LB this yr (colvin, vrabel were definitly better)

they did do a lot of things right but lets no give them credit for overpaying a ravens D product

I really respect the job the Pats heve done the past 8 years. This franchise was almost a local joke under Victor Kiam- and they have built it from the ground up with excellent ownership and management.

Yeah, BB can be an ass to the press sometimes and is his own worst enemy with the PR- but all he does is win. He's not afraid to cut or get rid of someone who is a perceived "untouchable" on the roster (Bledsoe and Milloy come to mind) and manages to get ex-pro bowlers to come in at discount prices.

Yeah, some pof their fans can be obnoxious- but that can go for any team with a long string of success (like Yankees fans) but you can't blame the organization for that.

People like to embrace winners. Look at Farve or Manning. So many people I talk to that are not fans of the Colts or Packers rooted for them in the playoffs because they are likeable. The Patriots do not have 'likeable' players. As stated many times before they have many players that are not good ambassadors to the game and good role models but are great players. People always root for these people to fail. The fact they have been so succesful and it shows in the players and in the fans by their arrogance.
This Patriots team will go down as one of the most hated teams in the history of sports (and one of the best too).

Free agency is up to the players where they want to play. Its a little easier to court big name FA's to a top tier team on the brink of another Super Bowl with a future hall of fame quarterback, then it is to a team who hasnt sniffed the playoffs in ten years, has a shakey offense/QB and plays in a cold weather climate (and supposedly where theres nothing to do)

How as trading a 5th round pick for Moss a risk for the Pats? They paid him next to nothing and could have cut his ass anytime they saw fit. Considering how good he made Culpepper look I wouldn't have minded if the Bills picked him up.

I was agreeing the Welker and Moss trades were brilliant on the Pats part beacuse they robbed the Dolphins and the Raiders. Just like how the Bills gave up their first for Bledsoe. Another brilliant move was trading first round picks with S.F. last offseason and turing it into a top 10 pick this offseason.

I don't think cuttng someone like Bruski is gonna be a shock, he is old and can be replaced. Question is whose first round pick will they get for Sameuls? lol

then the NFL needs to either enforce the rule or change the rule because it's not working. But the Patriots still got caught violating an NFL rule- the fact that other teams do it too doesn't change the fact that the Patriots cheated.

You are missing the point. Colts, Chargers, Pats were all teams that at one time couldn't attract talent. They figured it out. Hell the Bills were there in the early 80's.

Because they all do it.
Here's a little conspiracy theory for you: The embarrassment that the NFL really needed to avoid was Billy exposing the Officials the same way the NBA was exposed earlier in the year. Can you imagine the press conference:
"Yes its true, I cheated, but if you thought the cameras were bad, just wait until I explain the part the officials played in all of this and in every game in the season"

So in order to keep Billy quiet they slapped him on the wrist, continued helping them toward their perfect season with questionable officiating, and stand to make a ton of money off of the marketing of it all.

You guys need to get a grip on this. We all hate them but continuing to make insane comments like this EVERY year is just off the wall.

Do you really think the NFL would sacrifice their game to be in cahoots with any team to aid them into a perfect season or SB victory? Do you really think they could keep every ref, coach and/or player quiet for all of eternity? Any claims would ruin the sport for good.

It's different with a certain referee(s) doing some shady stuff on their own and trying to shift the outcome of a game but the league itself? Get real.

Good teams make their own breaks. People who hate them for being good try and come up with conspiracy theories as to why they are good.

Some need to face the facts that the officiating in the NFL is questionable every single game. This is from poor officials. If you want to incriminate the NFL for having some poor officials go ahead, but if you want to try and spin the facts as being a league wide conspiracy then that is just plain ******ed.

I know how the story goes with some here though. The refs are always in cahoots to screw the Bills on purpose and to reward the Patriots. It sounds like jealousy to me though.
