GOLDEN, Colo. (April 5, 2003 9:58 a.m. EST) - Former Denver Broncos safety Mike Harden was arrested for violating the rules of a halfway house where he was serving a six-year sentence for felony theft.
Harden was taken into custody Thursday and was being held at the Jefferson County Jail.
In July, Harden was sentenced to the halfway house under the community corrections program for stealing about $64,500 from women he knew.
He is accused of six rules violations at the halfway house, including lying to the staff, not being where he was supposed to be, failing to turn over his paycheck and having contraband, said Tom Giacinti, director of Jefferson County's justice services department....more (http://www.sportserver.com/football/nfl/story/841762p-5916406c.html)
