The Jets and Giants won't have to wait long for the Bill Parcells Cowboy Caravan to pull into the Meadowlands.

The NFL schedule, released Thursday, shows Parcells leading his new team, the Dallas Cowboys, into Giants Stadium to play the Giants, the team he guided to two Super Bowl triumphs, for a Monday night game to end the second week of the season. Then two weeks later, Tuna's Pokes return to play the Jets, the team he coached to the AFC championship game at the end of the 1998 season.

"Does Coach Parcells have a comment?" a Dallas spokesman said. "You mean about playing more games in New Jersey in September than in his home stadium? No."

The Jets will point to the Sept. 28 game with Dallas only when it arrives.
