Dolphins WLB Channing Crowder's truck was found crashed into a tree on the Florida Turnpike near Hollywood Boulevard Wednesday morning.
The truck appeared to have veered off the turnpike on an exit ramp. Police found no driver and don't know if Crowder was in the vehicle Tuesday night.

Didn't Joey Porter do the exact same thing?

I don't think Crowder understands the nuances of cruise control.

Dolphins LB Channing Crowder has been cited for careless driving and leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage after his truck was found on the Florida Turnpike early Wednesday.
Leaving the scene is a second-degree misdemeanor. Crowder underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in December, and a pair of crutches were found in the vehicle along with a firearm. He admitted to abandoning the truck and says the crash happened because he was "tired" and the road was slippery.

I can never understand why someone would leave the scene of an accident. Do you think you are not going to get caught? Gimme a break! All they have to do is trace back that its your plate and place you at the scene. What a ******...

Yeah but if he was drinking it gives him time to sober up.

Damn straight, may still get tickets and fines, but if he was drunk, he would get away with that..

There's no proof.......... yet....... but that's the only logical explanation as to why someone would do that.

So does this mean he was so drunk he was driving in the Ocean, or do Buffalonians believe Dolphins live on land?

He was actually aiming at the dolphin fan that was running with his pet dolphin who he thought could survive on land.

You have proof of that?

1. It was on the turnpike. Help is available.
2. DWI is going to get you suspended.
3. Leaving the scene is probably not going to get you suspended but it is a crime.
4. Leaving the scene carries the lesser penalty.
5. If he's not guilty of anything else, why leave the scene? I have a hard time believing he is that stupid.

Maybe he is that stupid, but the circumstantial evidence is pretty strong that he was guilty of something else that would be aleviated by leaving the scene. The most common reason is that the driver was drinking.
