Now, you may want to know my reasoning for the Bills picks. For starters, I see no need to address the defense. Jones and Schobel will be a good tandem at End and McKenzie, Irons, and Denney will provide solid depth. No room for a DE IMO. At DT, Williams and Adams are 2 of the best in the business, and Bannan and Edwards have proven they can play in a rotation. As for the LBs, we are fine there with 2 solid reserves in Polk and Spoon. Many people also clamor about CB...Kevin Thomas folks...kid was very impressive in the last few weeks of the year. He is the answer as our nickel corner. That leaves a few positions to work on. TE...we do not have a great pass catching TE on our roster. Witten I think can have the same impact as Shockey this year. He is that good. RB...we also have no backup at RB. Yes, we are pursuing Gary, but other teams are interested. Willis McGahee is progressing extremely well in his rehab and as of last check, he passed all the tests on his knee so it looks like he'll be ready to go this year. Plus, he gives us a stud playmaker who can take it to the house every time he touches the ball. Eventually, when Henry becomes a Free Agent, if we sign him to a long-term deal, we can deal McGahee, i.e.-Matt Hasselback and if we don't sign Travis, McGahee will be ready to step in. Then, Kareem Kelly is a player who is on the smallish side, but reminds me of Peerless Price in so many ways, except with a class attitude. Is a speedster and would help our receivers.

Our DL is a bunch of scrubs. Jones hasen't played in 2 years, and Schoebel still isn't up to his potential yet. Denney is a bust, he's not even good for depth. Bannan and Edwards have proved they can rotate in, when? We're gonna get eat up. I like Irons at depth..And McKenzie should be good depth also, but the DE is constantly rotating...We would need some depth in there...People that can actually play, Denney couldn't beat out the janitor.

How can you call Denney a bust after 1 year? Not even Flowers was a bust after 1 year, but after 2 yes, and Moulds was considered a bust after 1 or 2 years. Give Denney time. An early DE would have the same chance. Bannan played well IMO in his time and showed that he can fit into a rotation. Good run stuffer. And while Edwards isn't a starter, he can certainly be a depth player. You are really selling our players short, especially at DT.

How can you sell scrubs short? Denney didn't get any playing time last year on a last place D. Edwards can be depth, but you rotate DL. Besides, you dont know how Adams health will hold up. I remember some reports on that. Bannan looked pretty good in little time, but the DL is pure speculation right now. I would like some assurance at DE.

so drafting someone at DE is assurance?? we drafted denny in the 2nd round.. what assurance did he provide?

denny and bannan just finished rookie seasons.. you have got to give them more of a chance.. edwards was a 3rd round pick too if i remember correctly. TD is not just going to throw out his draft picks after their 1st and 2nd years.. irons actually showed alot in limited duty

so who do you suggest TD cut?

i dont think there is any chance that TD uses a pick that high on a RB.. i think you would be more likely to see a guy like musa smith in round 4-5..

and he thought of drafting a TE in the first round ... i think that would officially ruin the draft for the bills.. witten is not shockey.. he is not close to shockey.. shock was a guy that people thought about taking in the top 10.. witten is a guy that will go in the late first at the highest.. and there are other guys that are as good if not better that will be had in later rounds.. like clarke... look at last year.. mcmichael came out of the 4th round.. reimersma was a 7th rounder.. let the jets and steelers waste early picks on stiffs like becht and bruener.. i think TE is a horrible idea..

but i can appreciate the work that you put into doing that draft.. i think you did well overall.. just hope your off on the bills picks... wouldnt mind mcgahee.. just dont think it is gonna happen

There's no assurance for bringing in someone like Adams either, there is no assurance in the NFL. Drafting someone who can provide a decent pass rush and that the scouts think can turn it up to the next level in the 1st round is what we need. Denney will be a bust. Explain to me why he couldn't get playing time on a last place D and I'll show some confidence in the DL. Unless someone steps up, we need to bring someone in here. I dont care if its FA or the draft.

well.. you may feel that way... but i promise you that TD and GW will NOT cut denny, bannan, or edwards...

so plan on rooting for them next season.

This is bogus, Miami picking up C Al Johnson with their first pick when C S. Mckinnie was picked last year and is solid has got to be a good clue that this is nowhere near a good mock draft....

                Sorry, Try again.

Why the hell does everyone think the defense in such bad shape? WE MUST go offense in this draft. ABSOLUTE MUST. Our defense is better than our offense, and that's obvious. The only one's who don't believe that are smoking something good. We have filled every hole on defense. The offense is in dire straights. We have Moulds, Henry, and Question marks. WE MUST address the offense before the defense.

You must have a bunch of twins because not too many around here are ranting about going offense. Go Bills!
