The fourth period seems to think so:
Hawks continue search for powerplay specialist
The Chicago Blackhawks continue to search for an offensive-minded defenseman and have set their sights on two.
Sources tell TFP the Blackhawks are very interested in Buffalo Sabres rearguard Brian Campbell and Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Dan Boyle.
Chicago scouts have attended the Lightning's last two home games, including last night's, while they have also taken in the Sabres' last few home and road games.
Campbell and Boyle are set to become unrestricted free agents this summer and are believed to be on the trade block.
Boyle, who is currently injured, is expected to play Thursday against the Ottawa Senators.
The Blackhawks, according to a source, are supposedly dangling the likes of winger Tuomo Ruutu and young defenseman Cam Barker as trade bait.
That isn't bad traid bait either.
