The Scottish Claymores opened their NFL Europe season Sunday, scoring 34 straight points in the second half in a record-breaking 62-31 victory over the Berlin Thunder.

Running back Ken Simonton, allocated to the NFL developmental league by the Buffalo Bills, tied a league record with four touchdowns.

The combined points scored set a league record, as did Scotland's 62 points. Scotland also tied the league record for touchdowns in a game with eight. The 12 TDs by both teams matched a league record.

Unlike Alexander, Simonton was considered a top RB prospect in college. Hopefully he doesn't become another Alexander WRT his NFL career.

As I said earlier this guy tore it up at Oregon St., is on the smallish side, and I said when we signed him he could be a game breaker. Hes kinda small, and is fast. Both the things we need to backup Henry. Dont be surprised to see us cut Sammy Morris in training camp and go with; Henry, Burns, Simonton

KEN SIMONTON!!!

Lets not forget that Morris is the captin of our Special teams as well. He is a good special teams player and a solid back up. I would like to see a better back behing henry but morris is a leader on special teams.

Morris is a good special teams player. He needs help around him there. He also catches the ball out of the backfield pretty well. Problem is he's a converted fullback but he could be another weapon when we're not playing smash mouth ball.

The only thing NFLE is good for is to give your 3rd string QB some reps.

Wonder why Travis Brown isn't over there?

Cause Travis Brown sucks, but thats besides the point. All im saying is that this is the guy (at least in my opinion) that all of us have been looking for in a backup to Henry. A quick back to come in for a change of pace. And he can catch.

He wasnt drafted due to a knee injury that bothered him all senior season and his production dropped to hell and gone, he was a 2year starter and only had 1 good season, so he went undrafted
