I can't believe nobody posted this sooner. Obviously, nobody was watching.

THE SABRES CAME OUT TODAY IN THE OLD WHITE JERSEYS WITH BLUE AND GOLD TRIM. It looked so much better (although they still had the black pants). It was a surprise even to the players. Let's hope that they start the season that way!!

I forgot how sharp those uni's looked. They could use some tweaking.

I saw the Sabres/NJ highlights on TV. The blue & gold unis are nice, but in a third jersey kind of way, like when the Leafs pull out the original 6 lace-up jerseys when they play Montreal.

The old home uni's were good. However, the road blue and gold looked like pajamas.

Fine, I have nothing against tweaking the away jerseys but the home looked great!

Now the only thing left to do is move back into the Aud.

That was great to see.. what a nice little surprise! :)

Pretty good game yesterday too.. we had some great chances to win it..

I'm sad to see the season end.. it's been a really bumpy ride.. but it seems like the best is yet to come.. can't wait until next season..

There's nothing like old time hockey.

Those uni's brought a tear to old Don's eye.

I don't like the jerseys. Why live in the past. The red and black are really nice and a lot tougher looking if you ask me.

You are correct. The problem is, most people like to live in the past. Also they think that bringing back the ugly old uniforms will have some effect on the players. The last game should have disproven that theory. Playing against a team that had nothing to play for, they only got a tie.

I guess I watched a different game, because I watched a team that played a great game with alot of great passing, alot of shots, alot of opportunities, few turnovers, some great defensive plays, and a little goalie named Schwab that kept the game a tie many many times!

It had nothing to do with the classic jersies but this team played better the last 10-12 games than I saw them play all year, and I just hope the off season is a productive one
