Posluszny along with a few other NFL players left Monday morning for a 10-day trip to tour several of the U.S. military bases in Iraq where they'll visit with troops, bring them a taste of home, sign autographs, take pictures and watch the Super Bowl with a bunch of them this weekend.

Well, I guess we are going to find out if that Bills curse has really been lifted quicker than we thought.

I saw this thread on the BB forum and was disgusted to see it turned into a personal views on the war thread, and also people finding this a vain move by Poz. Absolute idiots.

Anyway, glad to see people on this forum see the good in this and in Poz's motives. I have a friend who is in Middle East right now, and trust me anything like this would be a fantastic treat. Kudos to the folks who responded to this thread so far.

for or against the war and the administration and any of it, the people out there could really use a boost, and this is a good thing no matter what.

i get the feeling whitner, pos, mccargo, lynch (maybe the most) just really really want to play football.

imo our young guys can energize vets rather than need them for guidance and confidence.
