I was listening to Jeremy White on the way to a superbowl party and he was discussing the fact that Mcnabb may become available and he would easily give up the 11th overall pick for him.

What do you think of that?

I personally think that would be completely idiotic to give up a high first rounder for a QB who is on the wrong side of 30 with injury issues.

We have our QB and RB. A real TE and a great drafted WR and we are in.

I agree.

When listening to 550 White was just annoying me with the way he was talking about this like it was a no brainer.

I will agree most of the callers they get are complete ******s but they are overly arrogant for the most part even though none of them are any more qualified than you or I.

Seems like as soon as he was given a bigger on-air role at WGR, he's gotten a lot more opinionated.. He's been beating the McNabb drum for a while - it was a ridiculous idea then, and is probably more ridiculous now.

Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome disputes an ESPN report that Baltimore is seriously considering pursuing Donovan McNabb via an offseason trade.
"We have not had one meeting to discuss any personnel," Newsome said Monday morning. "We've been very busy hiring assistant coaches." The Ravens would likely have to part ways with at least their No. 8 overall pick in a deal for McNabb. The Eagles said in December that he isn't on the block.

Jeremy White attended the University of Syracuse which is also where Donovan McNabb played his collge football.. Jeremy probably still wears his McNabb Syracuse jersey 3 times a week

I want no part of continuing to chase after Buffalo's next great QB. Nothing against McNabb, but he's 31 years old, and I don't want to be givng up first round draft picks for thirty one year old players, unless maybe his name is Peyton Manning, and even then I'd have to think about it.

I'd like McNabb, but I wouldn't give up a high draft choice for him. And I don't think he is in any way a cancer.

First of all, unless Andy Reid gets a top 10 pick, McNabb isn't going anywhere. Secondly, you don't want McNabb, he's just not that good a passer. Once he lost his ability to run effectivly he lost his edge.

I'm a Syracuse guy and I love McNabb. He should continue to be a very good QB for the Eagles or someone else for several years.

He's a lousy fit in Buffalo, however. We need to develop Edwards.

Jeremy White is a moron.

02-05-2008, 07:01 AM
No way, no how. He's not the right fit for the team, and if you bring in a vet now over Edwards you'll ruin any confidence the kid's built up over the past season.

I can't stand listening to Jeremy White. IMO he really should not be on a sports talk radio station. He is not insightful when it comes to sports.
No way do you trade for a guy who can not stay healthy and is in the down side of his career.
