    Re: DB's Draft 2008 Post-Season Posistional Rankings

I've been making my own list as of late, so while I understand we'll have differences, I did have a few quizzical comments:

RB: Kevin Smith is awfully high considering he's extremely slow...wasn't his 40 time listed as 4.65 or something like that. For a RB, thats horrible!

WR: There are some scouts giving Donnie Avery a 1st rd grade. While I don't have him that high, I still have him on my top 15. I'd probably place him before Jordy Nelson and I'd also lower DJ Hall considerably...

CB: You have Antoine Cason as #1??? Where is Leodis McKelvin?

      Re: DB's Draft 2008 Post-Season Posistional Rankings

Im buying the Avery being a 1st Rounder thing, he's a 3rd-4th Rounder to me

Kevin Smith runs hard and has great technique, he may be slow in distance but he's quick and powerful I see him as a similar back to Jacobs.

Cason #1? Yep, nobody so far has done enough to get above him, regardless of what Maycock and Kiper say imo. Damnit I knew I would forget one person, I gotta add McKelvin. Got to admit though 1 miss out of over 300 players aint bad.

What round is Ray Rice expected to go in? I think the guys going to be a beast at the next level.

Move Henne and Booty to #'s 3 & 4 and you will have your qb's right.

Just wondering DB, how do you know about these DIII guys? I was actually going to play Illinois Weslyan DIII ball but then I got accepted to U of M.

I just hope Kevin Smith doesn't get drafted by anyone in the AFC East; I want to be able to root for him every Sunday. I've seen him in person about 5-6 times this year. He doesn't seem that fast, but then again he blew by safeties and corners on a regular basis. I don't think he'll be doing that in the NFL, just because everyone is so fast, but I wouldn't worry about his speed too much.

Booty is not horrible. He probably can read a defense better than any qb on your list.
I see your boy Woodson has dropped in your rankings. A couple of months ago you told me he was the best qb. Woodson is also one of the qb's who needs the most work before he steps on an NFL field.

I've seen Ainge and I think he will play in the NFL, probably a career backup though. Arm isn't the greatest but looks to be able to read a defense.

Flacco and Johnson I haven't seen play.

Henne has the arm and size, will eventually be an Nfl starter.

Henne would be a good fit in Buffalo, Northeast kid.

I really would love to see us draft John David Booty if he is available in the late 3rd - 4th round.
