The average height of an NFL corner back is 5'9.

We still need a tall possesion WR for the redzone. Doucet is a badass fo-sho!!

I want the next Moss without all the Mossy-ness. There I said it. I see it in Hardy.
Flame away.

Moss is an elite once in a lifetime type player. I can't see anyone in this class living up to that. Case in point Moss reportedly ran a 4.25 forty for Florida State. Do you know how insane that is for someone his height? As to give you a comparison, that's Don Beebe type speed. Hardy's been rumored to run around 4.6 which may mean he could be a Plaxico Burress (who ran a 4.55) if he can put on some weight as at 6-7 Hardy probably be considered light at only 220 lbs. I know am biased on an early scouting report read on Hardy that said he didn't like going across the middle so he's not high on my list for that and just wonder just how fast he really is. That's where the combine and workouts will show. If he runs between a 4.5-4.6 I'd be more willing to take him.

Right now, I have him ranked behind guys like Kelly, Sweed, Bowman, Jackson and Doucet (of course I like Hardy's size better then those last two guys so perhaps could rank him as high as 4) and another guy that's peeked my interest of late is Devin Thomas.

Some sites are reporting Hardy runs a 4.45 40

However his inconsistencies (3 big drops v. OK St) and inability to gain seperation (v. Wis and Jack Ikegouwu, and v. Illinois and Vontae Davis) against bigger more physical corners.

Im still not sold on the guy.

I dont doubt he isnt as fast as moss. The moss jump-ball is a thing of legend. i think he can do it.

Here's the report in question (http://profootballexperts.scout.com/2/686940.html) but the author did write something after saying Hardy was showing more willingness to go across the middle in this story (http://profootballexperts.scout.com/2/694036.html) yet like said initially, I, like Draftboy have some reservations about him.

I think we need the combine to settle the measurables question with all these big guys. All of them are a bit of a reach at #11 overall if they run in that 4.55 rnage that I've seen listed for all of them. If any of them run a 4.45 They will jump 5 to 10 spots in value. I would like to see Hardy add about 20 lbs of muscle. He'd be a beast at 240. Everyone is going to have their favorite from the group. I happen to like Kelly. Mike Mayock thinks Sweed is the best in that broup (and Mario Manningham the top receiver in the entire draft). I don't see any point in getting too worked up over it.
