The Pats are favored again, at 4-to-1.

Next are the Chargers (6-to-1) and Colts (8-to-1) with the Cowboys and Giants having the shortest odds from the NFC at 10-1.

Pittsburgh is 25-to-1, Cleveland 40-to-1 and Buffalo 80-to-1 along with the Jets.

Longest odds are Atlanta, Kansas City, Miami and Oakland all at 100-to-1.

Everyone predicted the Bears to repeat as the NFC representative last year. Its truly a crap shoot.

I think the odds are about right, but I agree about the crap shoot comparison.

I think I'll put a hundred on the Bills.

But they really, really, really, really, really, really, really suck Jan.

I'd have to dig up the thread, but I believe they were in the 50-60 range...

I just looked, the Giants were 45-1 before the season last year :up:

Barring something unusual, the Pats once again have an absurdly easy schedule in an otherwise ridiculous division;

They face us the Jets and Fins for 6 "tough" games.

Then they have Denver, KC, Arizona, St. Louis and the Steelers, who were ridiculously overrated this year) at home. There's barely a loseble game for them in that batch.

Then on the road they have Oakland, San Francisco, Seattle, San Diego, and Indianapolis on the road. There are two games that they could conceiveably lose, but the rest of that cakewalk schedule makes it far easier to get up for the two/three tough games on that schedule.

The Pats are great, but also overrated.

I'd take the Pats at 4-1... purely financial decision.

I think someone ran the numbers and the combined winning percentage of New England's opponents in 2008 is .300 something. Now that is a really easy schedule.

Wouldn't be surprised if they make a run for 19-0 again.

I hope they do. How funny would it be to see them choke in the playoffs back to back after going 16-0 back to back.
