If anyone has a chance to listen to this, please do it.

You should hear Ralphs comments. He apparently realizes how much of a joke his franchise is:

"Last year our offense wasn't too good. I asked the league to change it so we had 6 downs...because when we had 4 we would hand off, hand off, pass, punt. Maybe if we had 6 downs we could get 10 yards."

"We look forward to the game...don't know who we'll play...but I hope we score a few times."

"Toronto is an NFL city."

BTW...have you ever heard a GM belittle his own team about how pathetic it is before on an INTERnational stage!?

"Buffalo is getting smaller, losing jobs...we need to regionalize...team can't be viable without regionlizing...have very passionate fans, don't want the Bills to move. Need to increase visibility...moved to east, set up training camp in Rochester." "Maybe 20% of our fans come from Roch...didn't happen until we moved our training camp and brand to the east.." "Now we've overturned all of the rocks in western NY...need to do something" "So we look to the North...came up with great partners came up with this format."

"What do I say to the fans in Buffalo? Hey, I can't speculate what's going to happen in the future. Don't worry right now."

Man...you know what. I think we can pretty much say goodbye to the Bills in 5 years.

Nothing you heard today makes you believe that long term, the Bills are going to stay. It's depressing.

I don't like the sound of that toronto is an NFL city statement.

Its almost like Ralph wants the bills in toronto. Or maybe I'm just reading into this too much.

But at least he recognizes how much of a joke our offense was. Maybe that's a sign of things to come for the offseason? I sure hope so!

We can read things anyway you want to. We won't know until it is time that they are leaving or staying

Unfortunately Ralph doesn't realize that because his team is such a joke that he himself is poking fun at his own franchise, that this effects fan support.

GET A WINNER IN BUFFALO AND THE FANS AND MONEY WILL COME, YOU MORON!

Ralph isn't planning to be alive in 5 years, and he has stated he wouldn't sell it while he's still alive. There's still a chance for US people to make a bid for it.

I wish they would just get it over with either way. This constant worrying about it is killing me... :ill:

I still don't think this is good for Buffalo if we want to keep the team. Give them a foot they'll eventually want a mile and we'll see more and more games going away.

So what was wrong about Buffalo is shrinking, the economy is in the toilet, people are leaving? Is it true or not?

That is funny.

At a minimum we can hold his feet to the coals on that. If he's going to bag the offense, he better put his money where his mouth is. Hard to blame him, though. The offense isn't his fault. It's not like he was signing the checks or anyth... oh wait, he was! D'oh!

Same thing that's wrong with the Bills eventually leaving Buffalo. It ****ing sucks. Nobody WANTS to leave Buffalo. Buffalo has a lot of history and family there, and it sucks that it's dieing.

And it's very clear that Ralph is not an advocate of our town. What other team in the NFL takes shots at their own fanbase/community, even if it's true? It doesn't sound right. Do we REALLY need to be reminded of the obvious about Buffalo?? Do we get any props for being die hard fans and SELLING out games for HIS ****TY PRODUCT FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS!?!?

HIS franchise is dieing by his OWN DOING. You should hear what he said. He just sounds very arrogant about the whole situation.

He still makes money off us, and through some very low points in the franchises history and he seemed ungrateful. How do you think the corporations who support the Bills from Buffalo think about the crap comments he keeps throwing at us?

Now I did not listen to the conference but from what I read he is trying to make the team stay in western NY. He is trying to generate more revenue (hopefully to better compete and not for his pocketbook).
He is being honest about the shrinking population and economy. Look at other NFL cities and the population is growing and I bet Buffalo has one of the five worst economies of cities in the NFL. I am not belittling Buffalo. I love Buffalo. I am just stating reality. IMO Ralph is making the team more attractive to potential buyers because it will increase the revenue and may encourage a future buyer to stay in western New York.

Why the **** would any potential buyer want to keep the team in Buffalo after Ralph keeps reiterating how POOR and ****ty our town is!?

Sorry Bills fans. This whole Jim Kelly thing will never happen. It's the brutal truth about the Bills and the NFL, but the NFL is a money machine, and Buffalo can't keep up with it. Buffalo is that mom and pop shop that's going to be torn down and have all their workers forced to work for Walmart (Cowboys)

Yeah, I'm so ****ing tired of hearing about Jim Kelly buying the Bills, it's not happening.

Regionalizing the team makes total sense. Unless Buffalo has some kind of secret economic plan that hasn't been revealed to the rest of us this is the best that you can hope for. Make the Bills a business that attracts fans from all over.

Buffalo has managed the Adlephia buidling, Bass Pro Shop debacle, Casinos, and Peace Bridge so well that it's a joke that people are getting mad at Ralph about it.

Yeah, but Ralph isn't part of the solution either.

Simple, if the Bills generate enough revenue between Toronto and Buffalo then the future owner will be happy to keep things the way they are.
Do you think any future owner does not know the economic conditions of Buffalo? This only makes them more attractive to stay in Buffalo.

To share them with Toronto once or twice a year is better then no team at all.

Yeah but if they move an NFL team to Toronto, guess what. All those Toronto fans will have an NFL team to root for that aren't the Bills. So Buffalo and Rochester will be alone in supporting a team in Buffalo. Once there is an NFL team in Toronto, there won't be Toronto companies wanting to invest in the Bills.

Why would they move an NFL team to Toronto when Los Angeles wants a team so bad, especially now that the Bills have a foothold on the Toronto market?

Besides, there's also Montreal-- they have a city big enough to support a team, have an NFL-sized stadium, and they love football at a grass roots level. Toronto's not the only team in Canada that can realistically support an NFL franchise.
