It sounds like he is going to need it. The recovery time is 10 weeks. He could have been back for the playoffs.

The biggest mistake they made was signing him.
If it wasnt for that hit during the playoffs I think this guy would be amongst the leagues greatest. He is just scared when he plays, his brains are definitely still a little scrambled and he is so injury prone that we wouldnt even get a loaf of bread if we tried trading him.

Now that we are on the same page my friend i couldnt agree more,
he sucks bad and drags alot of money down with him
We can do better in FA next year, i say cut his ass, cause no one is gonna take someone who hasnt played a full yr in 5 seasons

No Prob, i dont care what he did pre concussion, he never scores the big goal, he gives up the puck constantly and shy's away from contact any chance he can, he hasnt played a full season in 5 yrs
The whole NHL knows all u have to do against him is take the body, he is great at stick handling, but cant finish
sucks at breakways and u can never count on him in crunch time
He doesnt play thru pain, and always seems to be missing time for this or for that
he isnt a leader
He isnt vocal
He doesnt hit
He doesnt score
but hell i guess 3 million a year is worth someone who is beatin up and has some good stick handling highlights, trade him right ****ing now

This guy is the biggest p**sy I've seen since Pierre Turgeon. I'm done with this guy's act...please trade him in the offseason!

The guy is 7th on the team in points WITH 20 FEWER GAMES PLAYED than the players above him. He is a play maker, not a goal-scorer. Worth 3million in my book when healthy. If he was healthy, he would be easily worth 5 mill in the eyes of some teams. There are players on this team that deserve the criticsm far more than Timmay.

I was looking at that stat earlier today. I had a different read on it though. I read it as the healthy guys on this roster can't score enough to surpass him. He's got skills but there's 82 games in a season, not 50. If he was healthy, if if if, If they would just free up his roster spot and get a guy to come in to play an entire season.

Oh i am sorry i didnt know reading all the articles and listening to WGR, and other sports casters on local TV including Jim Kelly HOF sports writer, who have all said similiar comments about this guy wasnt good enough to formulate and opinion for you
He does suck at shoot outs, i remember him being stuffed plenty of times,
You are not making a valid point when u include other sabres as ur excuses for my points
Connolly is a pussy face facts, that alot of his pts are assists, and how many of those assists are secondary, i would say at least half if not more
I would luv to see this guy healthy and storming the puck thru the zone and rippin people and settin up one timers
But can u honestly say that this is the player that has been here doing those things

Learn how to take a hit and stop being so a pussy and being hurt all the time play with a little pain and actually earn the pay check we have paid him for nothing ( ok i will give u he mite have had 3-4 nice plays in the last 3 yrs) but he is now a joke constantly hurt eatin cap space and a roster spot
Face it he is an injury prone woulda coulda shoulda, and the longer people stick up for him cause he passes to the guy who passes to the scorer and earns a point that way, the longer the fans will be frustrated and the longer the sabres will struggle

Couldnt agree more about the piss poor managemnt, but i doubt Connolly goes on to be a star, and if does start to become one somewhere else, we could have Kaleta softly check him and he will be on IR the next day
