The Redskins recently re-worked the contracts of WR Antwaan Randle El, RG Randy Thomas, and DE Andre Carter. The Thomas and Carter restructurings were expected. Randle El's 2008 cap number dropped from $4.1 million to $2.7 million, and he had an extra year added onto his deal. ARE caught a career high 51 passes for 728 yards (14.3 YPC) in 2007, but scored only once. He'd preferably move to the slot in 2008, although the Redskins first need to find a viable replacement outside.
