Bucs:

Ticket prices will rise anywhere from $5 to $23 across the board next season, the team announced today.
Season-ticket holders, however, received some positive news, as the team announced it will not require an additional seat deposit for original general season-ticket holders whose 10-year agreements ended after the 2007 season.
General admission tickets at Raymond James Stadium will cost $42, up from $31.50 last season. In addition, general ticket prices will be $99, $89, $85, $75, $65, $55 and $50.

It's going to be $50,000 for the new Texas Stadium, granted it lasts forty years but you still have to buy season tickets every year.

Here's what you have to do in Baltimore... just so you can get on a waiting list .. and when your time comes you have to pay for a PSL and then buy the tix each year

The Basics
An initial payment of $50 per seat is required to join.
A flat $25 annual maintenance fee is required for accounts not receiving seats in a given year.
A maximum of 6 PSLs are allowed per waiting list account.
All monies paid towards The List will be applied towards your eventual PSL purchase and are non-refundable.
You own your position on The List.
This is a "Closed List" (limited number of members).
Your position on The List can be sold or transferred.
Once The List is full, the same number of new members will be added to The List each year as were helped the previous year.

Well people here (though not everyone is happy about it) are paying because there are few seats left for the new stadium.

Quit being a cheap ass and pony up if you're serious about keeping the team around.

Son, I do very well and have no problem paying up if they indeed build a new stadium. The point you keep overlooking is that guys like Jerry Jones are INDEED ruining profession sports. No matter how you spin it, this is true.

Since you are referring to me as son I'll assume that you are much older than I. Please elaborate and expand upon your claim because from my point of view he's simply making staying ahead of the competition.

No, I'm probably not older than you and if I am, not by much, but I had to get your attention. By driving up cost around the league, not just to other owner, but to the fan (the people who drive this sports), he is making it a corporate game and that is not the essence of sports. He's not staying ahead of the game, he's killing it!

The "cheap ass" comments are out of line. The ticket prices for the Cowboys new stadium are absurd. I could bring my family to Disney for a week for the price of one game. At some point a line is drawn between "Cheap ass" and "Stupid."

I have a feeling the only true fans attending their games will scalp their tickets. The rest will be people there to socialize and enjoy the "status" of being able to afford their season tickets. When the 'Boys need fan support in the 4th qtr most of their fans in the lower luxury seats will be gone, off to their Polo match or their appoinment with their plastic surgeon.

People in Buffalo are cheap, bottom line. Won't wink at dropping a few hundred at the casino every weekend, but not for football.
Considering the price of hockey tickets, there are only 8 home games. $100 a ticket isn't that bad. Most want to pay $35.
Like anything else, you get what you pay for.
But in all actuality, I think the older generation in Buffalo won't pay for the tickets for two reasons. It's too ****ing cold to sit out there and pay that kind of money, and you that hate roofs should consider Arizona and other warm weather areas.
Secondly, I think they all really hate Ralph Wilson, and don't want to give him a cent.

Dude, I think it is awesome that you support both teams and are doing well in Tampa. However, you and few others on this site drive me nuts with your constant negativism towards the WNY area. I'm doing just fine here and would never leave and I love it here. You chose to leave and that's great, but don't come on here like you're better than everybody because you now live in Tampa. No, I never questioned that...I know that you're a Bills fan...no doubt. But some people who have left think that this is the only place in the country where things get tough. I'm a Sr. Recruiter who places people for a living, so I have good feeling for the economy in WNY and other places and I can tell you that the economy in Buffalo is a lot better now than it was 5 years ago. I'm just saying, support WNY and don't always harp on the obvious bad points.

It clearly is a different market in Dallas than in Buffalo. Jerry Jones can charge $50,000 for a seat license because there are plenty of fans in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that can and will pay for it. Buffalo has a smaller fan base, and that fan base, I would guess, has a much lower average income than the average fan in Dallas/Fort Worth.Even if I could go to enough games to make a season ticket a sensible investment, there's no way I could pony up what would be more than a year's salary for me for a license. I would guess a majority of Bills season ticket holders are in the same boat.

So what would you expect to pay for a license? BTW, those are the preliminary numbers, those aren't etched in stone yet, you can give or take a couple of thousand.

It's common sense that people in Buffalo wouldn't be able to put out $50,000 for the rights to the seats, the economy isn't what it is in Dallas.

But make it $10,000 per for the higher priced seats and $5,000 for the other seats. That's more than reasonable.

I am entitled to my opinion and if my opinion of the fans and organization is not popular I don't give a ****. My life will go on with or without the approval of an internet message board.

You don't like my opinion, you can put me on ignore too. I'm not going to candy coat my opinion just to please the over zealous moderating staff or the people living in Candy Land up there. As of right now the team sucks, the ownership sucks, the prices suck, and now we're losing games to a bunch of hippies north of the border. Add to the fact that the owner of my favorite sports team could die any any without an heir and that makes for an unhappy fan.

Yeah....edited by an overzealous moderator.
