The Patriots "Spygate" scandal could spur a rule proposal that would allow one defensive player to have a communication device in his helmet. The rule would put offenses and defenses on equal footing with the direct communication eliminating the possibility of coaching signals being stolen via spying. The proposal will have to be approved by 24 of the 32 owners at the league meetings in late March. Then someone will complain that they're intercepting radio waves lol.
