I don't think we'll resign Davis having let him go and in such a deep WR draft I think we'll go WR with only one signing which I'd like to be DJ Hackett - 6ft2, 199lbs

I'd like the idea of Cleo Lemons as the backup QB as he did ok on a very poor Fins team.

A big name I'd like to see is Jeff Faine, as Fowler would be cheap to cut in his final year. At FB, I'd like to see a hammer like Dan Kreider, as I think Schobert will want an experienced guy running the gauntlet for Lynch

I think we'll also go for a FA linebacker - Teddy Lehman or Caleb Millar - drafting a LB very early and pairing him with a very inexperienced Pos is not an idea I think Fewell would go for.

I think we'll look to trade down because after two successive seasons the team won't want to continue to be run on and may look at the NYG approach.

Pat Sims in the early 20s and a extra R2 would be good. I think if Dre Moore is also around we might even go double DT with these guys replacing Jefferson and Triplett who must have outstayed his welcome. With millions invested in Denney, Kelsay and Schobel, we will look to assist them by tying up the middle.

Our extra WR could become Adarius Bowman WR. I would love to see this

R1 (trade down) Pat Sims Triplett getting cut
R2 Dre Moore replacing Jefferson = a decent DT rotation
R2 (extra pick) Adarius Bowman big No2 WR option
R3 John Carlson a solid TE
R3 Justin King more depth in the secondary
R4 a LB - Ezra Butler or Tavares Gooden we need more depth here
R5 John Sullivan C finally the end of Preston
R5 Kirk Barton depth to push Butler at G
R6 Titus Brown a light DE who is a leader and can come in on 3rd downs
R7 Jed Collins a FB with great blocking and receiving skills to learn from Dan
R7 Alex Brink big enough arm to push as 3rd string QB

In 2009 I think we will be looking at Sean Lee, Lawrence Wilson and Todd Boeckmann - nothing like thinking ahead
