Quarterback Jim Kelly this week offered this nugget of information about the Bills’ first Super Bowl meeting with the Cowboys. Ex-Dallas coach Jimmy Johnson told Kelly recently that he was watching ESPN the week of the game and saw a very brief video clip from the Bills’ practice that day. It was from an ESPN camera that was among the media contingent allowed to watch a brief portion of the start of the Bills’ practice. The clip showed the Bills running an inside shuffle pass. Johnson told Kelly he immediately alerted his defensive assistants to come up with a plan to counter the play, and it went nowhere in the game.

They shouldn't have been running new plays while the cameras were rolling.

Bingo. They knew that was media hour. I'd be going walk-thrus and stretches.

It seemed odd that they kept stopping the same play, a adjustment might of been in order.

FTP: Your team has been a AFC footnote at best ever since then as well.

You make it seem as though that "brief clip" was the difference in the game, it wasn't. That was my point.

Jimmy Johnson mentioned that incident after spygate on the pre-game show...That was not intentionally cheating like the Patriots...I agree the Bills should of been doing practice of normal plays and not their gadget plays with the media around.

I remeber watching that clip, they should the direct snap to TT and the blocking scheme, I never saw that play before and I'm sure it gave a little insight.
