i watched the pro bowl for 5 seconds, and in that 5 seconds i hear "there's aaron schobel, buffalo's only representation in the pro bowl" sigh.

Mikey....the words "pro bowl" mean it doesn't count...don't worry about it.

And then there's the much-coveted DT that some are clamoring for, laying on his ass, in the same picture.

Maybe the AFC squad needs to upgrade their interior defensive line before next year.

Schobel's neg out of School was that he played the run poorly and that he didn't have a second move to get to the QB.

The guy is a testimonial for his mock coming out of school.

He's officially on the downside of his career which wasn't that brilliant to begin with.

The Pro Bowl is the most worthless waste of time there is, I really wish they'd either make it count for something like the MLB did or just do away with it all together.

IMO just get rid of the PB and do a skills competition..

Trade Schobel for a late 1st round pick.
he doesn't have that kind of value and the cap hit we'd take would flippin nuts. IMO his value if we could trade him would be about a third maybe late second but it would take some convincing.

The Giants only had one representative, and ironically enough, it was a defensive end.

I also turned on the PB for about 10 minutes. I never watch them, and was unaware that you weren't allowed to blitz, the corners can't jam at the line, etc. They should just force each team to play 5 men on defense, and make it two hand touch.

oh i know, it was just the way they said it. you know with that "my god those bastard children of the nfl somehow sent someone to the pro bowl, and oh what a surprise it was only 1 player" kind of tone.

You know what, I'm no big fan of our posse of "high-motor" nordic DE's, but Peterson made a LOT of DLineman look completely ridonculous throughout his rookie season, the kid's a certified beast.

Could be worse, the NFC South had one representative for the whole division.

At least it would appear that both plays are going to the right and Schobel plays on the left. (O's left)

Considering that, not bad I suppose. Besides, none of these guys take the PB too seriously.
