17:31 PT: The Tampa Tribune reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed unrestricted free agent LB Dwayne Rudd (Browns) to an undisclosed deal.

TAMPA - The Bucs finally went on the defensive in free agency.
After adding two offensive linemen and a pair of backup quarterbacks, the team will announce the signing of linebacker Dwayne Rudd today, a Bucs official confirmed.

Rudd, a free agent from Cleveland, will fill the starting strongside linebacker spot vacated by Al Singleton, who signed with Dallas last month.

After visiting Tampa Bay, Green Bay and Detroit in recent weeks, Rudd decided Tampa Bay would be the best fit for him. The Bucs like how Rudd's speed and athleticism will fit in their scheme...
