Re: Marty Booker anyone??
Beat me to it! I was wondering if Booker was worth a look as well...

Trent Green, Marty Booker were cut.
"Other notable cuts by the Dolphins included tackle L.J. Shelton and massive defensive tackle Keith Traylor, both of whom were starters.

Originally posted by Mr. MiyagiMarty Booker is 31 years old, 6' 210lb. He's got pretty good hands and lots of experience. Maybe not the big red zone target we need but between him and Peerless Price (same age, 5'11" 194 lb), I'd take Booker.

Re: Marty Booker anyone??
If we traded JP, I would strongly consider Trent Green to be TE's backup. Aside from the confusion of having two QBs with the same first name, I think he would serve as a fantastic mentor for TE for the next year or two. If presseed into duty, he could be servicable for a quarter or two (or maybe even a start or two). I don't see another veteran out there who could serve the role of mentor better.
