Dan Morgan released.

Panthers released LB Dan Morgan and OG Mike Wahle.
Morgan said all the right things since the season ended, but Carolina didn't need him anymore with Jon Beason entrenched in the middle. If Morgan is healthy enough to pass a physical, he could be a nice addition for a team willing to give him a shot. He's currently recovering from Achilles surgery. Wahle, once a big ticket free agent pickup, will either be replaced by Geoff Hangartner or Justin Hartwig.

Poor guy, he has had so many concussion injuries as well and it doesn't help that linebackers hit on every play.
