All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
According to Channel 4's Dennis Williams... Regier will meet with Campbells agent tomorrow in Ottawa.
Lets hope they get something done. Probably the best two way defensemen in the league, in my opinion.
“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.
I'm torn. I like Campbell, but I don't like him for 6 million a year. Also, I think he can bring great value in a trade, so at this point, I would lean towards trading him. I wish they would have locked him up in the summer when we could have had him for 5 million a year. Now, it's a much tougher decision. The easy part is that if they can't get something done, then they better trade him before the deadline and get something for him. By the way, no way in hell I give him a "no trade" clause.
I like Campbell and I would like both sides to work out a deal to keep him in a Sabres jersey. At some point you got to keep the players and bring in players to compete for the cup.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't repeat myself.
