The guy is gettin up there age-wise for him to be a rookie in the first place. (age 28)

He gives up the puck like Max. Cannot score for his life, and when Stafford & Max come back... there is no room for the guy.

When your first NHL goal is on your own team, you know you're destined to SUCK!
Dont get me wrong, he would make a great 5th liner.

He is what he is. A role player with some speed. He works hard. He actually had a decent game last night.

Who didnt have a decent game last night? That was probably the worst I have ever seen the Senators play so I'm not getting too ecstatic (sp?).

I know just saying the guy does what he is supposed to do. I have noticed him more on the PK. He will probably stick around for awhile because of this.

He is a depth player, a 4th/5th line guy.

The problem with Ryan has been his hands, i would have liked his roster spot to go to someone with potential, and size like Mancari from Rochester he could be developing on the 4th line playin with Kaleta and Mair, Ryan i am sorry to say is just not good enough

I agree to an extent but Mancari did not impress me at all when he was up last year. Ryan fills a purpose obviously. He is fast which leads to good forechecking and defensive play.

I think at this point Max does marginally more for this team...but he offers a much smaller return in a trade...and costs us a lot less to keep on this team

I would rather Mancari be in Rochester and playing 15 minutes a game. he will develop faster that way.
