Our first four rounds could very well look like any of these scenarios

    1
1-Malcom Kelly WR (Top WR in the draft, tall and great hands)
2-Xavier Adibi OLB (Excellent 4-3 OLB with good range and run stop ability)
3a-Dre Moore DT (Stout body and can get after the QB)
3b-Brad Cottam TE (If the injuries can be avoided...steal of the 3rd round)
4-Terrell Thomas CB (Prototype Cover 2 CB, good size)

    2
1-Keith Rivers OLB (Patrick Willis...need I say more?)
2-Pat Sims DT (Big bodied run stuffer with a proven history)
3a-Andre Caldwell WR (Got the size at 6'+ and 200+lbs, speed and playaker)
    3B-Brad Cottam TE (See above)
    4-Terrell Thomas CB (See above)

    3
    1-Malcom Kelly WR (See above)
2-John Carlson TE (The next Jason Witten)
    3a-Andre Caldwell WR (See above)
3b-Bruce Davis OLB (Good pick for an OLB in RD 3)
    4-Terrell Thomas CB (See above)

    4
    1-Keith Rivers OLB (yada yada)
2-John Carlson TE (Did I mention the next Jason Witten?)
3a-Andre Caldwell WR (Tougher than Reche and much better)
3b-Antoine Cason CB (Good speed and fiesty cover 2 CB)
4-Trevor Law DT (Workaholic...got after it in the senior bowl)

Well, which one would you take? Scenarios 1,2,3 or 4?

Rivers will be a day one starter.
Carlson could be a day one starter, but he is the same mold of Witten.
Kelly could be the next TO.
Where else would you rather be than right here right now?

How about trading for Roy Williams with our first and then grabbing Adibi in the 2nd? Then the rest of your first scenario.

      Not a bad idea.

Detroit said NO on the Williams trade. Heard that on Sirius the other day. I don't think that we'll see a Williams trade but I could see Ocho Cinco getting dealt...he will become a cancer in that organization.

I'm not sold on Brad Cottam, as if he was so good as he showed in Senior Bowl practices etc why didn't he show it in college? I"m also not high on John Carlson either of course it might be Tony Hunter syndrome kicking in. Of the scenarios I'd vote for 1

None of them...... 2 is the best but i don't like the caldwell pick...

            how about....

            1. Phillip Merling-DE-Clemson-a riser on the boards...DE always rise on boards hard to fill position in the NFL
            2. Limas Sweed-WR Texas
            3. Tavres Gooden- Miami-OLB- PLAYED ALL THREE LB POSITIONS at Miami
            3. Dwight Lowery-CB-San Jose St.
            4.Ahtyba Rubin DT-Iowa ST-Run Stuffer...

            5. Kellen Davis ----Big Physical guy....

I like Atchison from William & Mary and Moore from Stanford as a late rd sleepers...

              my opinion,
1.WR malcolm kelly or limas sweed
              2. dominque cromartie or mike jenkins (if available)
              3.TE jacob tamme
              3.G chilo rachal
              4.LB xavier adibi
              5.DT trevor laws
6.FB owen schmitt (have a feeling he'll fall because not many teams use FB's anymore but schonert is a fan)
6.QB colt brennen (if he is still there did enough in college to bring in as a cheap project for a backup)
7.LB j leman (could be great for depth and special teams seeing how we will probably loose one or 2 or our special team LBs)

Re: Our first four rounds could very well look like any of these scenarios

I'm surprised that there hasn't been an option for having a trade down.

In all the mocks, there doesn't not seem to be a lot of difference in the quality of players from No11 downwards, but there are always teams that will get so excited they will want to move up and if they are fearful of losing their player are often prepared to overpay.

If we really want an LB, I see no difference between Rivers and Connor accept that Connor is more versatile, has played in cold weather more regularly and has played with Poz. Personally I'd rather grab a free agent like Lehman, Bailey or Caleb Millar and then draft Sean Lee in 2009.

                But here is my proposal

R1. Trade with Vikings. They either want a QB (Does anyone believe in Tarvaris Jackson?) and will give up a R2 to get ahead of the Bears or need a DE as Udeze is sadly sidelined
R1. (17) Either Dan Connor LB or Pat Sims DT
R2a Dre Moore DT or Erin Henderson WLB (Heavier than Adibi, taller than Highsmith, just as quick)

I can see a scenario where we might go double DT, but we won't draft two LBs

R2b (from Vikings) Adarius Bowman WR
R3a (from Ravens) John Carlson TE
                R3b Justin King CB
                R4 Mike Hart RB
                R5a Kirk Barton G/T
R5b (from Bears) John Sullivan C/G
                R6 Titus Brown DE
                R7a Jed Collins FB
R7b (from Eagles) Alex Brink QB

I just saw a mock on Walter that had us doing this:

                    1. Malcolm Kelly
                    2. Ali Highsmith
                    3a. Martellus Bennett
3b. Steve Justice, C (Who I'd replace with Trevor Laws)
                    4. Owen Schmitt

                    If this actually happened, I'd

This would be a sweet draft. These would fill the positions not held by starter worthy players. Use the 5 - 7 rounds for depth. Pick up servicable players via FA like A Odom. Or splash with one very good player like A Samuel.
Buy land in AK now. In ten years due to global warming, it will be the new tropical paradise, minus the tropics
