    Richard Dent joins Bears' coaching staff

    Richard Dent was named assistant defensive line coach for the Chicago Bears on Tuesday. The former Bears star signed a one-year contract and will work with defensive line coach Larry Brooks.

    Dent, who was the MVP of Super Bowl XX and played 12 seasons in Chicago, holds the Bears' single-season sacks record and will focus on improving the team's pass rush. Dent recorded 17.5 sacks in 1984 -- his second year in the NFL.
