Top 10 Big Money Players on the Bills For 2008..

As for 2008 cap numbers, here are the Bills top 10:

    Aaron Schobel 8,729,795
    Derrick Dockery 6,356,720
    Langston Walker 6,006,720
    Chris Kelsay 5,000,000
    Roscoe Parrish 4,261,720
    Terrence McGee 4,125,000
    Larry Tripplett 3,791,720
    Jason Peters 3,300,000
    Lee Evans 3,124,584
    Ryan Denney 3,106,720
Does it make anyone else sick that a backup DE is making just as much as Lee Evans???

As much money we have under the cap, i really think if we do anything it's sign a above average, not great FA to fill one position and then sign backups and then go for filling the rest of the need positions in the draft.

I honestly think that we might get a WR OR TE in FA because having a rookie WR AND TE on the offense might take too long to translate to good offensive production.

Im not against getting a WR to play 3rd string in FA and then getting a WR with our first and then getting a TE in the 3rd or 4th. Does anyone else think that just bringing in Malcom Kelly to our WR corps is going to solve all the problems? Now I'm a Josh Reed fan, but I really think he is best served as a 5th stringer or in certain situations where we use him as the slot possession reciever. I'd love to see Evans, Kelly, (FA WR), Parrish/Reed (interchange based on situation) than just Evans, Kelly, Reed, Parrish, Aiken (insert other bum here).

I'd really like to see us get a decent TE in the draft, as i dont like many of the options in FA right now. And it seems like more and more the TE's coming out of the draft are more skilled as recievers because TE's are such a weapon in many offenses in the NFL.

How many teams in the league do you think don't have a QB in their Top 10 salaries?

Evans needs to be extended to a long term deal, as should Peters.

Tripplet needs to rework his contract or he's getting dumped.

Kelsay and Denney combining to count 8.1 million is a complete and utter joke. And we give guys like Guy and Overdorf promotions?

Scarier yet, we have $16.8 million tied up in DE.

That's over 10% of the entire cap in a single position not QB.

So what are the details of Roscoe's contract? I know he got an extension this year, but I never saw any published reports saying for how many years or how much. Anyone know?

Seems to be mostly in order with the exception of Evans and Peters being too low and Tripplett being to high.
