    How about G John Welbourne?

Started all 16 games for KC at RG last year, 6 5 310, he can play.

Hes 31 so he certainly will have a few more years to play.

Yes, we get Whittle back, some may argue that Butler played good enough, but is Welbourne an upgrade? I could see that.

I'd consider taking him over Butler.

I think you need to keep developing Butler.

There is no need to spend $ms on an old free agent who may be on the downhill of his career. We spent $25m on Walker who was a shoo-in at RT but who knows what Pennington might have achieved with an extra 16 games under his belt?

If we are going to spend any money on the OL, let it be at center where Jeff Faine represents a huge upgrade over Fowler and at 27 may have a good 8years

Whittle's an UFA, there's no guarantee we'd get him back especially with McNally retired, who think was one of his big supporters and why we signed him to begin with.

I'm good with Butler and I think he will continue to improve into a very nice RG.

Butler has Pro Bowl potential. He's big, young and getting better. I wouldn't ****** his progress by bringing in a 31 year old journeyman.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
