All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Depends, Hayes may have the skill necessary to take over for Ellison. He certainly has the speed and ability but can he put it all together? That Im not convinced of as of now.
COMING SOON...

1. CB McKelvin
2. WR Thomas
3a. DT Laws
3b. TE Bennett
4. LB Hayes
5. WR Urrutia
6a. OC Sullivan
6b. DE Dingle
7. LB Gooden
Not a bad draft at all, Id be very happy with this, though I have DRC graded above McKelvin at this point.
I was just going to say the same thing as I went down the list. It's not bad at all and I wouldn't be upset with something like this...though I might rather an versatile but raw Olineman at the 7th pick rather than Gooden...

I just was reading that draft, not knowing you had posted it. My favorite mock draft by far. Those 1st 4 picks are rock solid.
I realize few know much about WR Thomas of Michigan St but he's a super talent who would shine as a #2 WR. Very physical and clutch at 6-2 220. Great 3rd down WR.
CB McKelvin of Troy is a personal favorite of mine. His recognition and closing ability is 2nd to none. The film doesn't lie. A rare talent. Dominated during Senior Bowl week. Has to learn how to INT the ball more but knocks down an inordinate number of passes. QB's just quit throwing to his side of the field.
Laws of Notre Dame was a standout at the Senior Bowl practices. Cat quick and great spin moves makes him very hard to block. Put him next to McCargo.
TE Bennett of Texas A&M is 6-7 253 with great hands and speed.
I'll take that draft any day.

I think Urrutia was a bit of a reach and wonder how he has Tavares Gooden falling to Round 7 when he's thought to be a top 3 at his position. If we were to take a second WR in Round 5 would prefer someone like Adrian Arrington or Steve Johnson over Urrutia. I also admit not sold on Laws either as think he's a great depth player but not someone could starting.
37. Chiefs - CB Antoine Cason
38. Ravens - OLB Keith Rivers
39. 49ers - NT Joseph Bryant
40. Lions - DT Pat Sims
41. Bengals - TE Fred Davis
42. Saints - OLB Ali Highsmith
43. Bills -
Ouch!!! I would be crying on draft day watching that.
