A Former University of Miami football star was arrested on a DUI charge early Saturday morning, authorities said.
Roscoe Parrish, 25, was charged with driving under the influence after Miami Beach police pulled him over as he was driving west in his 2005 Bentley on the MacArthur Causeway at 4:30 a.m., Miami Beach police spokesman Juan Sanchez said.
Parrish was drafted in the second round of the 2005 NFL draft, No. 55 overall by the Buffalo Bills. A fixture in the Bills' offense and special teams, he was the first player in the NFL to score a receiving, rushing, and punt-return touchdown, in 2007.

Um. No.

2 players got caught, and one got a DUI that I know is going to be turned into a big deal when it's not like he killed someone.

I'm not sure what the law is in Florida but here in Texas a DUI won't kill you but a DWI will ruin your life.

He isn't going to get suspended for a DUI. Substance abuse is related to steroids, weed, and other drugs.

This is not good news. Roscoe really f'ed up here.

For those who say it's not a big deal, if it were a Dolphins player you would've jumped all over the "Dolfelons" or whatever. Yes it's a big deal, and it sucks. Roscoe better sobers up and straightens out, or you know Dick with his high character thing going would cut him no joke.

We'll see what happens as far as suspension is concerned. This is his first and only offense so maybe he'll luck out. Goodell has a lot bigger things to worry about these days.

Tell that to Anthony Hargrove. He was suspended for his alcohol related incident. Drinking isn't against policy, but alcohol related crimes are.

But that doesn't mean he isn't a ****ing idiot... If he was a Dolphin or Patriot, you guys would all be ripping him a new ass.

IN FLORIDA they videotape every person that is pulled over for DUI.....You have to have a good lawyer which he probably has.......YOU NEVER blow in the tube in FLORIDA, you are going to jail either way if they suspect u are drinking.......I KNOW THAT for a 100%%%%%% FACT.........

NY is different in that.....IT is a huge DEAL here in FLORIDA!!!!!! He should pay a huge fine and he will get out of the DUI...

No offense to anyone but im sure we all have drove after having been over the legal limit and have been lucky not being caught. I know the guy is a football player but come on he likes to go out and have a good time too. Everyone makes mistakes.
