All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
This is only a test
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

As stated above... NBC, Vs. NHL Network, HD Net all have HD games regularly. Additionally, a large number of local networks that cover specific teams have HD coverage too, but you'll be hard pressed to get it outside of there normal coverage area. Some systems that carry the NHL Center Ice package carry some games in HD, some don't... mine unfortuantely does not, despite me *****ing to the contrary numerous times.
MSG has Sabres games in HD, NESN has Bruins games in HD, FSN NY has the Devils, FSN Detroit has the Red Wings, etc, etc.

HDNet has at least one, I think 2 games a week generally speaking. They tend to show the Western Conference a lot more though. Especially Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, and Colorado.

They probably show Dallas because it's Cubans network.
Thanks for the advice, I'm still trying to like the game of hockey but so far I haven't been able to get the same feeling out of it on T.V. like I get at the games. I'm hoping that watching it in HD makes it a bit more exciting.

To me, hockey in HD vs. SD makes the biggest difference. The ice looks so washed out, just a big white blur in SD, HD really defines everything much better.
Nothing will compare to watching it live though, it's by far my favorite sport to see in person.

Next to football I must admit it is a lot of fun to watch in person.
just watch the games......everything will be in HD long before it has to be - in fact I can't wait then the *****ing can stop. Someday when there is "realvision" where holographic images put you in the game people will still ***** because they are not actually there.
For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
