Points actually determine the standings. If it comes down to a tie in points the amount of wins are a tie-breaker.

Nope, you get points for the win. 2 points if you win, zero if you lose, but you get one point if the game goes to overtime no matter what.

The Sabres beat Tampa Bay tonight in overtime. Buffalo got 2 points and TB got 1 point in the standings.

I think it's 10x easier than reading win/loss/ and win pct.

I watched full on. I told friends we were going to take it into OT and win it. Nobody believed me, "maybe if it was last year" they said... "maybe if we had drury" they said. My pops turned the channel on the tv in his room only to turn it back at the sound of my yelling :up:
