All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Drew Rosenhaus, agent for Zack Thomas said today three more teams have offered to host a visit for the former Miami Dolphins middle linebacker. One of those teams, according to Rosenhaus, is the Buffalo Bills.
I'm not so much into Thomas (in fact, I'm not at all). What intrigues me is even the THOUGHT of signing him at ILB tells me maybe the club is looking to move Poz to the outside.
NFL Network's Adam Schefter clarifies that free agent Zach Thomas will visit with the Cowboys on the Tuesday after the Combine. Thomas' visit with the Texans will be the following Wednesday. Thomas is a Texas native and played collegiately at Texas Tech. He'll have between now and then to weigh New England's offer and also consider the Saints.

I doubt it. Thomas will be lucky to last through three games this coming year with the condition of his coconut. They want him for what he can teach Poz in the preseason and if they can grab him cheap to do this and play his as depth until he rings his bell again and is placed on IR then so be it.

Of course he is but who the hell is going to want to pay him an ass load of cash when he won't last anotehr full season the rest of his career? He may get a good contract but it will be laced with incentives based on playing time. In other words...he won't get crap!

What I DO find interesting is them even entertaining the thought of a vet middle linbacker. It makes me think it's very realistic that Poz could be moving outside to take Ellison's spot.

I think that could be a horrible mistake. I dont think Poz posesses the athleticism to play OLB in the Cover 2 system. He is best suited for MLB.
