Adam Schefter of the NFL Network reports that the Cowboys have used the franchise tag on S Ken Hamlin. Hamlin finished the season with 62 tackles and five interceptions while starting for the Cowboys. He will make $4.3 million, and the move means that T Flozell Adams will likely become an unrestricted free agent.

Wow! I have never seen this many players tagged. :shocked: A lot of teams are trying to keep their own players their year. I wonder how many of them are going to promise them they won't tag them next year.... :scratch:

Not really, that agreement is not something that's very common anyway.
