    Karen Guregian and John Tomase, of the Boston Herald, report the New England Patriots declined to pick up the option of WR Donte' Stallworth Friday, Feb. 22. Stallworth was scheduled to receive $6 million Sunday, Feb. 24, and an additional $2 million March 1. Stallworth is now free to negotiate with any NFL team.

    Wow. So basically, they didn't tag Moss and now they are letting Stallworth hit the market? Hmmm, maybe the 18-1 team was the last run for this team....

      I think there was speculations when Stallworth and Washington signed that their deals were structured in such a way to be only 1 year deals in reality.

      Stallworth might be interesting .. if he wasn't in the substance abuse programme and risking a 4game ban.

          I don't want him but I like how there are more and more free agent WRs in the market now, now with Stallworth and Moss not tagged and Williamson on the trade blcok. That increases the supply and should lower the cost of the Johnsons and Wilfords and the like.
