Chiefs & Dolphins inquire about Losman....

The Chiefs and Dolphins have reportedly inquired about J.P. Losman.
No word how serious the talks are and the Bills aren't overly eager to deal him. The most interesting thing here is that Kansas City may be proactively looking for better competition for Brodie Croyle. Miami needs some experience at the position.
I know that Parcells liked him when he was in Dallas.

We'll just have to hope this doesn't come back to haunt us.

I don't mind trading JP, and I know he's a little tarnished, but I think we need a 3rd or high 4th rounder in return.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I don't mind trading him either, I still don't trust Edwards though.

        There's enough interest in him. I want a 3rd or a conditional 4th.

In fact I think he deserves to have his request of being traded met. He's been screwed every which way in Buffalo and has been stuck with horrible coaching, horrible talent around him, and an all around horrible situation. If he goes to Miami he'll go to a place that at least now has the coaching and the talent will come after Parcells has a couple of drafts under his belt.

I'm not letting him go to Miami. No way.

We don't need the extra motivation for the Fish to beat us.

Edwards is unproven but he appears to have some attributes that JP doesn't have - poise, pocket presence and the ability to go through his reads, rather than locking on one guy.

Why? Haven't you read the boards? He sucks, he's one of the worst QB's in the league, what do we have to fear?

Even as a forth year player Losman still has more upside than Edwards does because of Edwards' lack of physical ability. Losman just needs some coaching.

Oh, I totally agree that JP has as much physical ability as any QB in the league. It's a matter of his developing the mentality to master the position.

But I'm not quite as quick to write off Edwards' physical ability just yet.

What JP lacks is not coachable.

Rob Johnson had a ton of physical ability.
