All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
This is only a test
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

This is from real football 365. I have never heard of COnnor Bryne or seen him at any Bills related media stuff, other than his opinions on the website he works for. I doubt that he has anymore "inside" knowledge than anyone else.
But having said that, and to give credit where it's due; this is a good read. Jauron has worked with Rogers' before and both his Pro Bowls came when Jauron was on the Lions' staff.
Even before reading this, I said I would give up a 2nd rounder for him immediately.
The Rocky Mountain News reports that the Lions are close to agreeing to trade DT Shaun Rogers to Denver. A deal couldn't be official until Friday.
The terms are unclear, but this is typical high-risk, high-reward Mike Shanahan move. We think it's worth it. Rogers' effort and conditioning are suspect, but he's a Pro Bowl quality defensive tackle in his prime. Denver is desperate for some help upfront and Rogers is a quick fix. Its uncertain if he'll get new money as part of the deal. Feb. 25 - 6:15 pm et
I"ve been quiet about this, but I really wanted him.. He's worth the risk. We gotta do something to improve upfront, TRIPPLETT and Williams are never going to get it done.
"Rogers has had problems with his attitude, health and weight. He has been inconsistent and has underachieved, especially at crunch time. He was a non-factor during the six-game losing streak that eliminated the Lions from the playoffs."
From the Detroit Free Press.
He had two good games last year - against two lousy OLs in the Broncos and Chiefs. The rest of the time he was apparently 'putrid'.

A typical Broncos pick up then.
Dude.. C'mon.
Don't call someone else an underacheiver when you're promoting us trying to stand freekin Starks for DT.
In his first 3 seasons of which in only once he started the full 16 games in a season, Starks has not done too badly.
He's average 3.5 sacks a season, and approximately 40 odd tackles. It is also interesting to hear that when given a start this season, against the Jags he produced what was described as the defensive performance of the day, registering 10 tackles (as a DT!!) in a losing cause. (on the Titans site)
Reports said that Starks was still fighting at the 59mins and 50secs point.
If that's underachievement - compared with Tripplett - then yes, I would like to see that.

Connor Bryne is just pretending to be a sports writer. Kind of like you and Wys Guy.

Let me answer with a question (I know you should never do that, but...)
Why do we want players that other teams dont want?
Better yet, what do they know that we dont? Maybe the reason Jauron hasnt gone after him hard (Im laughing about Dick going after someone hard), is that he doesnt really want him.
The article almost answers its own question when it says that Jauron should want to go after him since he knows him. Maybe he isnt because he doesnt want him.
