The player rep for D.J. Hackett confirmed Monday that his client will hit the free agent market on February 29. "I won’t rule out Seattle as a destination but we are going to test the market and see what’s out there," Hackett's agent said. As a West Coast receiver, there will be heavy competition for Hackett with the Redskins, Raiders, Vikings, Bucs, Titans, Broncos, and possibly Eagles in need of WR help.

He might tear a quad at the interview.
I like the guy but he's always hurt.

And he's a "West Coast" receiver as they say in the article. It takes a QB 3 years to learn the system and a WR typically 2 - so those teams with the exception of perhaps Tennessee would love to get a guy already in the most true remaining form of the offense.

A healthy Hackett is the best-case scenario as far as acquiring a veteran WR. He would be the perfect complement, and he already has proven production. I'm willing to take the risk.

Probably because he is one of the top WR's in free agency. We will likely go for a cheaper, under the radar WR.
