    Limas Sweed

Mayock has him as the #1 overall WR in the draft.

Would you slit your wrists if we grabbed him with our 1st rounder?

Toss up, DeSean Jackson*, Malcolm Kelly*, Limas Sweed, Mario Manningham. I say we trade up & grab 2 of these guys, F-it.

Only if we cant get (or trade up) for Dorsey, Gholston, or Rivers. Not too crazy with WR with our pick

Really want Malcolm Kelly, but wouldn't be the end of the world if we got Sweed. Both can come in a be a good #2 reciever, both are big recievers and that is what we need. I think Sweed is a reach at the 11th pick. If we moved down a bit and picked up Sweed and another pick that would be great, but wouldn't pick him at 11.

All that to say, either will do but Malcolm Kelly is who I would like to see in a Bills jersey.

It all depends on what we do in free agency. I'm not opposed to a WR in Round 1 but think if we do go after an UFA then the need won't be so great and could see taking a guy like Keith Rivers. As to me he seemingly is a better prospect then any WR listed and think there could be a quality WR prospect could be drafted in Round 2.

I think we need to explore trading down.

We'd be improved with any of these guys, and in extra picks we acquired in a deep draft could also turn into top difference makers.

There is almost too much choice at WR in this draft.

I think of that clint eastwoood movie where the recruits are chanting sweed, sweed, sweed. Then Clint kicks his butt.

                          Re: Limas Sweed

I'd be fine with Sweed. Now that he has proved that he has very decent speed, I would have no problem with him being chosen. A tradedown would be great, but not always feasible. We cannot go farther down than the 17-19 block. Both Minnesota at #17 and Philly at #19 are likely to choose WRs and dropping lower than them could mean losing Sweed, Kelly or both and not a risk worth taking...

That being said, the teams between #12-16 don't seem to have the same wants and we are therefore unlikely to find someone to bite and be able to trade down with.

I know alot of people here will be disappointed, but we will likely be forced to overreach and go with a top WR with our #11 pick.

Id take Sweed or Kelly but not at 11, doesnt make any sense considering Thomas and Hardy should be there with our 2nd, and Bowman and Simpson will be there in the 3rd.

i think that there is a good chance that one of those 4 falls to the top of the 2nd round.. so i would wait.

there is also bowman that can be had maybe in the 3rd?
