The Buffalo Sabres just dealt D Brian Campbell and his $1.75 million and got a player that was making about a million less. So the question I have is, what will the Sabres do next? I find it hard to believe that they are done. Are they going to use his money to pay for someone else in a trade?

The guys on WGR said that their source says the Buffalo Sabres are done dealing. If that's the case, what do you think about that? Who is our new defensemen? Afterall, Kalinin's contract is up this year too. Oh and we have no one in Rochester left for defense. Our depth is not good. Is Teppo coming back soon? Maybe that's it? :idunno:

Nothing about this team is hard to believe.

They are done. The Sabres are the kings of doing nothing. It's surprising they got something for Campbell at all.

I think I would like to see Max, Ludman and Tilander get a change of scenery.

Of course they're done. The intent this year was not to improve the team, merely to rid themselves of the hassle of signing Campbell. The only difference between this and the Drury/Briere fiasco is that this time they got a marginal player and a draft pick that won't amount to anything for years instead of nothing.

It would probably take more than Max.

Darcy just said that he's looking to get upstairs and get back at it, because they have 3 hours left.

Sekera and Weber can step up

Paetsch can take up some minutes

Draft a LW and Gragnani can be moved back to Defence as well

This gives 4 + Tallinder, Lydman, Spacek and no doubt we can pick up a Free Agent to

You must not watch much AHL. Gragnani was moved to the offense because he was a HORRIBLE defenseman. :ill:
